Top Newsletter Tips For Top Marketing

By Neil Russell On August 23, 2010 No Comments

One of the best ways of making money online is offering newsletter tips to your subscribers. The best way to do this is to get people to opt into your email list and then send them out messages as emails.

These newsletter tips may come in a handy text format, a PDF attachment or a strict basic HTML format. The most preferred format today is the HTML format, but there are still businesses that prefer the text format so they safely pass security filters that most email systems apply. HTML-formatted newsletters, on the other hand, are used because they can exhibit enticing pictures and videos that are relevant to the content. Only a few businesses today are sending newsletters via PDF due to the fact that this format is sometimes weighty and is not supported by a number of operating systems.

These tips are used for a specific purpose they engage the reader and help build their trust and in them you’ll generally find a link to some promotional item that you recommend to your reader. Similar to any type of advertising be it TV or Radio, these newsletters have a specific types of selling and ways of reaching their target audience. In a nutshell this marketing strategy can be narrowed down to three basic steps; get the prospect to the newsletter, answer a problem and give the reader a solution to the problem. This way, subscribers don’t feel as if you are just trying to sell to them because you have gained their trust. However this type of marketing will not work if the user does not read the newsletter. Otherwise sales will not be made.

Users may not find your content interesting or engaging or may mark your messages as spam. To avoid these problems you should use proper newsletter writing and you should also watch how often and at what times you should send your emails.

Inviting ads incorporated in the newsletter tips can be effective in fixing the problem. In order to steer clear of these problems you should find out as much as you can about effective newsletter writing.

10 POWERFUL Reasons WHY ‘Articles’ Remain The Internets #1 Marketing Strategy

By Alfred Lancer On August 19, 2010 No Comments

We’ve all heard it… “Content IS King” and for good reason because it IS as far as the Internet is concerned.

And when it comes to web surfers, they come online for two reasons, One is to check there email and reason number Two is to search the web for “Information”.

How do you think the Internet received the reputation as the “Information Super-Highway”?

Because thats what its primary purpose was before they decided to commercialize it to what it is today.

And… what do ‘Article’ contain?

The answer is quite simple… “Information”.

So, what does this have to do with you?

Be the one who supplies it.

It’s that simple.

Now, for the rest of this article I’m going to give you 10 POWERFUL reasons WHY you should and/or need to get started using ‘Articles’ as one of your online marketing strategies so you too can reap the benefits.

With that said, lets move on to reason #1.

Reason #1. Search Engines LOVE them.

It’s no secret that Search Engines LOVE content, so if you supply it on a regular basis your giving them a great reason to stop on by to take a look around.

Once there they’ll spider and index your website which is just what you want.

Reason #2. Website and Newsletter owners always need them.

I touched base on this earlier about why web surfers come online.

Website owners need fresh content to keep there visitors and/or subscribers coming back, where as newsletter publishers also need fresh content for there “email” newsletters that they publish and send to there subscriber base.

Remember the two reasons I discussed earlier about WHY web surfers come online. BINGO!

Reason #3. They generate Life Long residual Traffic.

Articles produce Life Long residual traffic because website owners, newsletter publishers and article directories archive them for there visitors to read and search through.

And since you have a ‘Resource Box’ located at the end of every article you produce with your website info and URL you’ll receive traffic.

Reason #4. Great way to get One-Way HIGH PR links.

This is probably one of the best reasons because when you offer your free information with ‘Reprint Rights’ and the website owner decides to archive your article within there article directory and their website happens to have a High PR(popularity ranking) ranking, guess what?

You’ll be able to ‘Piggy Back’ off there PR giving your website a PR boost because at the end of every article you produce your able to leave your ‘Resource Box’ with all your websites info and most important of all, your URL.

Reason #5. They’re VIRAL.

This is yet another great reason to start using articles as one of your online marketing strategies simple because your going to offer ‘Reprint Rights’ with all the articles you produce giving Website and Newsletter owners permission to publish them causing a VIRAL explosion and Traffic surge to your website.

Reason #6. You can syndicate them via RSS.

If your up to speed on the latest marketing technology called RSS(Real Simple Syndication) and you write ‘Articles’ on a regular basis you can set-up an RSS feed that web surfers and/or website owners can ‘Opt-In’ to and syndicate your ‘Articles’ via RSS to them, plus, you can also submit your RSS feed(s) to RSS search engines and directories.

Depending on how many ‘Opt-In’ this is yet another great reason to get started with ‘Articles’ and another way to generate LOTS of Free targeted traffic.

Reason #7. Bloggers with BLOGS need “Information” to.

Bloggers with BLOGS or Web-Logs need information to.

If you provide quality information related to a specific Blog that blog owner just might post your article on his/her blog for their audiences/readership to read giving you again more FREE exposure for your business.

It gets better. Blogs also use RSS(Real Simple Syndication) to syndicate there content to various search engines, RSS search engines and directories giving you again more FREE exposure through there feed.

Reason #8. Info-Product developers need it to.

Ever receive a free ebook of some sort in your Inbox with related articles inside it from other authors?

When you offer your articles with ‘Reprint Rights’ and someone decides to include your article in there ebook for a Viral marketing campaign they’re working on, guess what?

More FREE targeted traffic for YOU as that particular ebook circulates across the Internet.

Reason #9. Post them to related Forums and Newsgroups.

Remember, the Internet is all about numbers and Forums and Newsgroups contain numbers to and are yet another avenue for you to gain some extra exposure for FREE for your online business through your articles.

Just make sure you read there ‘Terms’ before you start posting because you don’t want to receive any ‘Flames’ in your Inbox.(They can be Nasty.)

Reason #10. You gain INSTANT credibility as an Expert.

The best way to gain the trust of your potential customers online is to supply them with quality “Information”.

By doing this your stepping up and telling them that you know what your talking about within the industry your in giving them a reason to look into what you have to offer further by following the link you provided within your ‘Resource Box’ at the end of your article.

WoW! Are those 10 POWERFUL reasons to get started with ‘Articles’ or what?

You get all those benefits by just producing ONE article.

The more you produce the more you’ll benefit.

Do you see how powerful ‘Articles’ are now and how they can take your online business to the next level?

I certainly hope so.

In conclusion: “Content IS King” online and will remain King for as long as the Internet exists.

It’s now up to you to step up to the plate and decide whether or not You want to tap into this ‘Proven Internet Marketing Strategy’ yourself and reap all the benefits I just finished explaining above.

3 Things All Affiliate Marketers Need To Survive Online

By Mick Moore On August 11, 2010 No Comments

Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the flourishing market that gives the biggest wages. Sometimes they think it is a powerful formula that is readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just useful marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.
There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online.

What are these three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: Closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word free because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.

3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.
Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.

The tactics given above does not really sound very difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.

Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving in this business that not all marketers can do.
Besides, think of the huge paychecks you will be receiving

Articles Are An Affordable Internet Marketing Method

By Mick Moore On August 8, 2010 No Comments

From Overture, a keyword suggestion tool, you will see the millions of searches done to a certain keyword. When these keywords are typed on search boxes of search engines, indexed websites containing articles with those keywords will be displayed. And this is what leads traffic to websites with keyword-rich articles. Yes, the magic word is articles.

Content is king. You can say that again. That is why writing articles is one of the most utilized Internet marketing media today. Internet surfers just can’t get enough of information on various fields. Providing information through these articles is a surefire way to drive hot traffic to your web site.

Why is this so? Here are the benefits that writing articles can give your Internet business.

1. It’s absolutely free.

Too good to be true? Not. Okay, you have to shell out for your Internet Service Provider. That’s it. All you need is your thoughts, your computer, and your hands. If you have those, nothing will stop you from typing terms that will make you complete that article for your website. On which aspect of that process did you really shell out any cent? Maybe later when your electric bills come.

2. Your website will be noticed in a short period of time.

Submit that article of yours to article directories that get the most web traffic and in no time your web site will be crawled. That is if you don’t forget including your resource box or byline.

3. Obtain back links repeatedly.

When you submit your articles to directories, surely, other websites will make use of your article too. With the copyright terms of your articles, the URL of your website will still be in tact and will subsequently instruct more traffic to your website.

4. Upgrade your reputation.

As an Internet marketer, if you plainly display your products on your website, you will not gain much conversion rate. Conversion is when your traffic converts to sales. You have to illustrate that you are knowledgeable on your topic. And what better way to show that than by writing articles that will allow you some bragging rights, right?

Just make your creative juices flow and jot down or key in those ideas quickly to jumpstart your article writing momentum. With those benefits listed above, a writer’s block is the last problem you will ever be able to surmount.

How To Make Money Writing Articles

By Joe Bateman On July 27, 2010 No Comments

For a long time now there has been a lot of buzz in the online world about article marketing, but I am still frequently asked what it is and how it works. Here is a brief explanation. Like any large medium, the internet is hungry for content. However, unlike other media outlets such as TV, radio and newspapers, which generally only use content from professional writers, on the internet, anyone can publish. Article marketing is a way of taking advantage of that freedom and using the medium as a way to bring visitors to your website or blog. So, how does it work?

You write an article. A standard article for web consumption should be between 250 and 750 words in length. It will be carefully focused round a specific area of expertise; the writer’s niche. It will use relevant keywords to the writer’s intended audience. You publish that article on the web. There are now hundreds of article directories, where any writer can publish almost any article. Most are free to use, but some more specialized ones charge a small fee. One of the biggest free directories is EzineArticles.com which carries the work of nearly 70,000 writers. The directories are organized into multiple categories and the article writer must decide which category to publish under. You are also encouraged to attach a group of relevant keywords to your article and to include your personal or business details and a link to your site, in your ‘resource box’, which is a brief paragraph about you or your work which will appear at the bottom of every article. The directories employ a team of staff to approve each article before it becomes available on the web.

So how does this drive traffic to your website? Firstly, the article directories, being very content rich, have high rankings in the search engines and often your articles may be spotted there and an interested reader might click on your link and visit your website.

However, the real purpose of the article directories is to provide a place for e-zine publishers to find free and relevant content. Every day, editors of a huge range of subject specific e-zines, visit the article directories and download new articles that are relevant to their audience. This saves them writing it themselves. The only stipulation made is that they must publish the article in full, without editing and always include the author’s resource box and retain the links intact.

So over a period, a single article can easily, be found in many different places on the web, each time with a valuable back link to your website, which not only leads highly targeted visitors to you but also helps to improve your search rankings. In conclusion you can make more money with more traffic! Do you really want to ramp up your article marketing results? I strongly suggest the Unique Article Wizard. This article marketing service can mass submit your articles to hundreds of sites.

Convert Your Blog Site Visitors Straight Into Cash… Like Magic!

By Joe Mandarino On June 26, 2010 No Comments

For those who have a blog and do not have sufficient site visitors, remain cool, you aren’t by yourself.

And if you don’t realize how to transform your visitors into a real income, then these tips are going to do amazing things for your blog; the real key is to carry out just what you will hear next.

To begin with, seasoned bloggers concentrate on only one thing – developing their subscriber list.

If you have the interest to check out some important bloggers in your specific niche market, you’ll notice that almost all of them have RSS and/or e-mail subscriptions.

If you ask yourself why that’s because they are shrewd enough to understand its potential profit. If you enable RSS/e-mail subscriptions on your blog you’re essentially hitting two rabbits with one stone:

1. You’re providing your visitors with free blog updates straight to their inbox (you’re actually saving them time) – they won’t have to check your blog, the content is delivered in their mailbox

2. You’re capturing the chance to communicate with your readers and make them offers and special promotions, consequently increasing your blog revenue.

There are some bloggers making the bulk of their income via list building; wouldn’t you like to follow in their footsteps and turn your visitors into subscribers?

Secondly, there isn’t any way around it. If you really want to extract cash from your visitors, you must get their email address and follow-up with content frequently

Contrary to popular belief, almost all of your visitors will never bookmark or visit your blog a second time. So as opposed to losing them forever, you could do them a favor and offer free RSS/e-mail subscriptions

Thirdly, whenever everybody does it it means it does work, right?

Don’t jump to the wrong conclusion; you’d need to personally test what I’ve shared with you today. For example, some bloggers use just RSS on their blogs, while others have enabled autoresponder email subscriptions only

A tiny minority are employing both options, which I would suggest you do too.

If You can Master Psychology in your marketing – You Will Earn More!!

By Walt Bayliss On May 10, 2010 No Comments

Have you ever sent out an “advertisement,” and much to your disappointment, received much less of a response than you had hoped for?

Perhaps a little crash course in marketing psychology is in order.

There are a couple of tips and tricks – psychologically speaking, that can set your marketing apart

How do we define marketing? here is perhaps a good way to view it…

Marketing is simply influencing peoples thoughts in a direction of a product or service

That may put you offside, but here is something that may make it easier for you.

When you write an advertisement, a web page, an email, or a sales letter, the real reason you are choosing the words you’re choosing is because you want to influence your reader’s state of mind.

More specifically, you are looking to introduce a state of mind for the person that sees your product as a must or want to have.

Whenever you write those words, you are doing so with the purpose of getting that person to think something and act on it.

If your marketing isn’t achieving your desired result, this can literally only mean one thing:

+++++++++++++Your words are not hitting home. They are not causing the readers mind to respond in the way you are wanting them to +++++++++++++++++++++++++

But how could that be?

You thought you had crafted the advertisement with skill and patience, and read other ads in the same genre to get the tone…

However, at the end when you are ‘counting the money’, the results are not where they need to be

So, with this in mind…. How do we start to influence our readers down the path we are suggesting?

Understanding psychology is the key. Because, if you know how brains work, then you’ll really know what to write to influence them the way you want.

Of course, the field of psychology is huge — you can get a Ph.D. in it. But, here are 3 psychological tips you can use to your advantage.

Some of this may go ‘against the grain’ for you…. But to stand out from the crowd – sometimes that is what is needed.

Because as we know – the methods that have been comfortable and feel like they are the right way… May not have achieved the results. Right?

If this had all been working for you as it should have, you probably would not have read this article.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ TIP #1: At all costs, avoid looking like an advertisement. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

In this day and age, when people see something that they know is an advertisement, they immediately tune it out.

When you look at the way your think personally, you will see evidence of this.

Would you spend your free time reading ads?

I wouldn’t think so.

People tend to classify an advertisement automatically as something ‘selling’ to them.

So, the best way to avoid looking like this is to actually give people some real information, for free.

That way – the giving of free information is NOT an Ad and therefore will not be seen as one.

People will read it for your interesting info, and then when it’s time to talk about what you’re selling, they’ll really listen, too.

Try it.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ TIP #2: At all costs, avoid looking like everyone else. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

You really have to stand out from the crowd of advertising to have ANY impact at all.

Unfortunately we see this so often, with all advertisements blending together to be indistinguishable from the next.

LIKE THIS: THIS IS THE LATEST, GREATEST, MOST IMPORTANT EMAIL OF A BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY YOU WILL EVER SEE. HURRY!!! ETC ETC…

Nobody pays attention to things like this anymore.

Make sure you don’t look like anyone else, and you’ll stand out.

If you are blending with the crowd, you are dead in online advertising.

Combine this with Tip #1 to come up with headlines and email subject lines which really communicate something interesting and meaningful.

You should always strive to give headlines and email subject lines that capture people’s attention – by offering something of value. Then later on you can make the sales in a lot easier way.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ TIP #3: At all costs, avoid making huge promises you know you can’t keep. Don’t hype. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

So many people nowadays make huge claims in their marketing; like if you sign up for a certain site it will make you $10,000 per week while you sleep.

This sort of thing is obviously not true, and everyone knows it, even you!

So – this kind of advertising sets off major alarm bells for people, and you lose them.

People also become immune to your ads, if you promote something as the ‘Biggest’ or the ‘Best’. They have heard it all before

Of course, if Google make the claim of being the Biggest or The best… They have something to stand on, but all the other hype just turns people off.

You might even believe that you just found the “best site to come out in the last 10 years,” but so many people *have* worn out this promise that it holds no weight anymore (see Tip #2).

This one can seem counterintuitive, since you might think that you *should* say great things about your website or product to get people to want it.

The problem is, this just isn’t how psychology works.

Instead – the keys are that you must be subtle. Get people to pay attention and different than the others.

Let your actual website or product make them say “wow.”

And if the reason that you are hyping up the marketing – is that you are concerned the website itself is not going to deliver that WOW factor, you need to revise the site and work out a way to make whatever it is you are selling powerful enough to bring get the message across

Email List Building – Tips To Create A Responsive List

By Heidi Passey On April 12, 2010 No Comments

Building a list that is responsive can be difficult, but anyone can do it. Always keep in mind the relationship that you are building with them. What are you writing about in your emails? Are they full of quality information that can help them and that they enjoy reading? Or, do unattractive and full of sales pitches and hype?

People want to receive quality content, especially your email list subscribers. They expect quality and value in the emails you send them. You even told them that you were going to provide them this value as well.

You need to furnish your email list building with the kind of information that’s easy to understand, fresh, and that readers can immediately apply – and that’s before they’ve even seen your product! When they can act – with success – on what you tell them in your emails, then they’ll start to warm to you and will feel more inclined to come to you when you begin offering them low-end ticket products.

Does list building really have to be that hard?

It’s not, but always ensure you are taking a smart approach to it.

1. You are an expert in your niche. If you aren’t, don’t worry, you can still write intelligent content to send to your subscriber list.

2. Write in a style that is easy for your readers to understand. You want your readers to feel relaxed, like you are talking to your friend over lunch. Make sure your grammar is free flowing and non-technical.

3. Don’t, don’t, don’t constantly push your products at them every chance you get. Try putting a discreet link to your website in about 20% of your emails. You want your subscribers to enjoy reading your emails, so you don’t want them full of hype and pitches. Think about the emails you take the time to read. Which ones catch your eye or what ones you actually enjoy?

4. Yes, your email rate depends on the nature of the niche – and the subscriber’s frame of mind too – but send the correct amount of emails. At he beginning of building your relationship, when everything’s fresh, send up to 5 emails a week maybe. Then as you get to know one another, ease up a little, as they’ll come to recognize you. If you have emails that give heaps of sound information though, then don’t feel shy about sending it to them. Sending out sales letter every day will leave you without any subscribers at all, so just be sensible, and all should be fine.

5. Pretend that you are one of your subscribers. Would you enjoy reading your email? Think about how you would feel reading the email that you are about to send out to them. Think you might delete it?

6. Most of all, always treat your subscribers with the respect that you would expect to receive yourself. This is by far one of the most important factors in your list building.

Permission-based Email Marketing | Beginning With Trust

By Heidi Passey On April 7, 2010 No Comments

Permission-based email marketing today is the way of list building. Not only are you ensuring your subscribers really want to subscribe to your email list, but you also know they are interested in your products and services. They have more trust and respect in you as well because you allowed them to opt in.

By taking the time to use permission-based email marketing you are saving yourself from wasting time. You don’t want to be emailing a bunch of people who didn’t want to be subscribed, do you?

You should always aim for keeping your subscribers happy and satisfied. You want to keep them in the know when new products come out, when prices change, what has worked for you, what hasn’t worked for you or any other tips and information you can provide them. You want to keep them informed. Providing them constant value and helpful information will help to keep them happy and interested in your emails.

Here’s an example of why a customer may become dissatisfied. Diane purchases product “1″ worth 2 dollars through your website. Diane was so happy with the product that she wanted to buy 100 more. It took her one month to come up with enough money but there was a price increase that she didn’t know about. No email was sent to her and her plans to buy 100 of product “1″ were foiled. Of course she would be unhappy with the company and would even result into complaining and even bad rep to the company.

Nobody want’s to receive unsolicited emails, but everyone gets a ton of them. If you are one of those that doesn’t use permission-based email marketing you very quickly could earn yourself a bad reputation. Building a bad reputation by emailing people without them opting in can really harm your business.

Permission-based email marketing is one of the best ways of marketing your products in the internet. You can also identify customers, subscribers and potential buyers from the thousands or millions of visitors in your sites.
